The number of single parent homes has doubled in the last 50 years! Today 1 in 4 children under the age of 18 — a total of about 17.5 million — are being raised without a father and nearly half (45%) live below the poverty line. The working poor are single mothers who live paycheck to paycheck!
In collaboration with the County School District, Eco-Village, PVCC, the United Way and others for our JUST ONE PROJECT! If we can elevate the status of JUST ONE™ Single Mother, we can change the lives of generations of children. We offer them child care and scholarships to attend parenting & business classes and information on a variety of topics. It’s difficult to do anything when you work all day, come home to children at night and keep a household. We encourage them to elevate the status of their lives.

In the future, we are planning a co-housing project where elders and Single Mothers with young children live together to support, encourage and share resources. Please help us elevate the status of Single Mothers and in turn, change the lives of generations of children out of poverty!
