Program Coordination, Teaching and Mentoring:

Regional Program Coordinator for Nacel Open Door, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Served as placement facilitator for long term, and short term foreign exchange students between the ages of 12 and 18. Students were enrolled in cultural exchanges as well as educational exchanges. Received and placed students form 10 different countries, 3 different continents. Served as liaison between students and host families providing support and advice as necessary.

Owner/Manger of Springbrooke Farm, Madison, VA. Established and directed a comprehensive horseback riding program. Taught horseback riding and horsemanship skills to adults and children during the summer that included many additional activities to enhance the overall learning experience.

Member, Board of Directors, Northern VA Therapeutic Horsemanship Program; Provided oversight to therapeutic horseback riding activities for physically and mentally disabled individuals.

Administrator, USDA Food Program, Soho Center, Madison, VA: Approved home daycare providers for food program and assured that home facilities maintained the proper standards for certification for food preparation and services. Area of responsibility covered 17 counties, 200 home daycare facilities.

Marketing Coordinator, Equitable Environmental Health, Rockville, MD: Developed and supervised research and production of campaigns promoting occupational medicine, environmental health and laboratory services. Supervised 6 technical marketing and support employees while coordinating marketing activities. Established a significant client base in public and private sectors. Developed systems in preparation of business proposals. Submitted 8 million dollars in proposals.

Director/Teaching, Ramey Base Nursery School, Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico; Managed a large pre-school facility for military families. Developed curriculum for pre-school children. Responsible for coordination of daily activities including age appropriate early learning exercises, music appreciation, physical education, arts and crafts. Hired personnel, trained staff, administered the budget, managed daily food and nutrition services, established safety procedures, and interacted with parents as necessary.
