Penny Chang

PennyFaceFIRESIDE CHAT: TOYS, CREATIVITY, PLAY AND INTELLIGENCE: TV 11.21.13Penny Chang, BHSP, CMA, is a modern dancer, choreographer, energy healer and author. Since 2001 she has performed in 22 concerts with Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC), including the New York-based Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company’s 10,000 Migrations and Philadelphia-based Group Motion’s The Dreamer and the Dreamed. Her choreographic credits include Light Being, PVCC’s first interactive video dance; Tales of the City, featuring performers aged 11 to 66; and Listen to Me, a structured improvisation in which the dancers must simultaneously improvise and memorize words and movement. A Certified Movement Analyst and a graduate of BrynMawrCollege and the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, Chang lives in Crozet with her husband and son and practices energy healing and Healing Movement in downtown Charlottesville.
